I Want to Love like You

I just wanna see what you're seeing
I just wanna hear what you're hearing
I just wanna say what you're saying
I want to love like you

I just wanna do what you're doing
I just wanna go where you're going
I just wanna feel what you're feeling
I want to love like you

Teach me how to walk in your ways
Reveal to me your marvelous glory
O Lord, go among us

Jesus gave them this answer: "I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does."JOHN 5:19
I do nothing on my own but speak just what the Father has taught me. JOHN 8:28
I am telling you what I have seen in the Father's presence, and you do what you have heard from your father. JOHN 8:38
For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told me to say." JOHN 12:49-50

Come Away my Beloved - a love song to the Bride of Christ

Come away, come away, come away with me
Come away, come away, come away with me
Come away, come away, come away with me

I'm beckoning you to the secret place
For it's you I long to embrace
In the garden where the fire of My love will blaze
Your eyes have been caught by My longing glaze

Meet with me
I'm calling for you
Be with me
I'm waiting for you

Lay it down before me
every care and every worry
There is nothing but pureness in My presence
You are betrothed to me
in righteousness and mercy
Consume yourself with Me

Hunger & Thirst for You

You have been thirsty and nothing on earth would quench the thirst . . .
You have hungered and been hungry and nothing would satiate (satisfy) your appetite . . .
because what you really hunger and thirst for is righteousness (Matthew 5:6)
I AM your righteousness
I AM the bread of life
Eat of me and be filled
Do the will of my Father - this is how you will be filled and satisfied beyond any earthly feeling of fullness
Drink of me - my suffering . . . and my living water
It quenches the deepest thirst of your soul . . .
How I long to dwell in you
To have a place of habitation
A place I call 'home'
Taste and see that I, the Lord, am good (Psalm 34:8)

What are you thirsty for? What are you painfully conscious of your need for things by which the soul is refreshed, supported and strengthened? "The Holy Spirit and the bride (church) say Come! Let everyone come who is thirsty (painfully conscious of his need of those things by which the soul is refreshed, supported and strengthened). Who…

Refreshing Rain - the Wilderness Experience

Paul Keith Davis says "For the Bride of Christ to be identified with the Bridegroom, she must also know something of the wilderness. The Holy Spirit has been alluring us into the wilderness so that He can speak tenderly to us and to the issues of our hearts. From this place we emerge with God's anointing and the power of His Spirit."

Noah did all that the Lord commanded . . . Noah went into the ark and the LORD shut him in . . . and the fountains of deep were broken up and the heavens opened . . . it rained for 40 days and 40 nights . . . And all the high hills that were under heaven were covered up . . . And all that was in dry land died . . . all of flesh wherein is the breath of life was no more. . . GENESIS Chapter 7

The Holy Spirit has illuminated the "wilderness experience" in the story of Noah and the ark as I read it last week. Here was Noah, who had found favor in the sight of God, for Noah walked with God. Yet the land that Noah lives in is filled with…

The Bleating Sheep - Psalm 23

A baby sheep, lying alone in a deep ravine, barely able to cry out for help. Thistles, thorns and briars are all around. Who knows what is lurking, waiting to pounce, where the sheep cannot see. The walls of the ravine are steep, there is no way out . . . save One.
The Good Shepherd comes into the ravine to rescue him. He lovingly and tenderly picks up his lamb, the one He knows, the one He loves, the one He cares for . . . And the Good Shepherd is victorious!

For thus says the Lord GOD: “Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day." Ezekiel 34:11

But I will trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you rescue me. Psalm 13:5 The Good Shepherd's rescue of us doesn't always look like what we imagined. Oh, He is able to do beyond what we imagine and yet sometim…
